Problem
Reach students during exam season in a way that helps them pass, when they would rather scroll memes than look at another textbook page.
Idea
V Adnotes, a browser extension that lets students swap every online ad they see for their own colour coded study notes, so procrastination time becomes revision time.
How it worked
• Students installed the V Adnotes Chrome extension, chose a subject and uploaded their notes
• The extension replaced standard display ads with those notes, using colour coding to help recall, and served them wherever the student went online
• Turned “wasted” media space into a personal cheat sheet, putting V Energy on the side of getting through exams, not distracting from them
Results
• Reframed V Energy’s “improves you a bit” platform as something genuinely useful at exam time
• Turned passive ad impressions into active study moments students opted into
